Consultation

Clinical Consultation for Clinicians & Supervisors

I offer clinical consultation to therapists, supervisors, and training programs seeking deeper understanding of how racial trauma and other forms of oppression manifest in clinical work. This consultation supports clinicians in integrating psychological, relational, embodied, and sociopolitical dimensions of client experience—rather than treating race, power, and oppression as secondary or supplemental considerations.

Consultation provides space to explore clinical material with attention to countertransference, internalized oppression, survival strategies, identity-based stress, and meaning-making. Together, we examine how broader systems of power shape intrapsychic experience and therapeutic relationships, and how clinicians can respond with greater attunement, ethical clarity, and sustainability.

Consultation formats may include:

  • Case-based consultation (individual or group), with focused attention to clinical process, relational dynamics, and sociopolitical context

  • Ongoing consultation groups for clinicians or supervisors seeking sustained reflective support

  • Training workshops for clinical teams or graduate programs on racial trauma, oppression, and integrative practice

  • Short-term consultation series organized around a specific clinical question or population.

Agency & Organizational Consulting

I provide consultation to agencies, organizations, and institutions seeking to better understand how racial trauma, systemic oppression, and power dynamics operate within their structures, cultures, and service delivery. This work supports organizations in examining how policies, practices, and professional norms may unintentionally reproduce harm—even when equity and inclusion are stated values.

Organizational consulting focuses on integrating psychological insight with sociopolitical analysis, helping teams understand how oppression affects staff well-being, client outcomes, leadership dynamics, and organizational culture. This may include reflective consultation, training, facilitated dialogue, and support around accountability, repair, and structural change.

Consultation formats may include:

  • Reflective consultation with leadership or multidisciplinary teams

  • Interactive workshops or trainings on racial trauma, power, and organizational dynamics

  • Facilitated retreats focused on integration, repair, and alignment of values and practice

  • Ongoing consultation contracts to support sustained organizational learning and change
