The work of becoming
Psychotherapy, scholarship, and conversations that make room for more of who we are. For Black women, high achieving women, and the therapists who care for everyone else. Virtual in Illinois, Connecticut, and New York.

welcome,
I am so glad you found your way here.
I am a psychotherapist and certified group psychotherapist, and for twenty years I have sat with people as they make sense of what they have carried and what they want for their lives. Many of the women I work with are successful in many parts of their lives and want support in others. Often they are the strong friend, the one everyone leans on, who rarely feels held herself. Whatever brings you to therapy, my priority is to help you feel comfortable enough to explore unfamiliar territory at a pace that respects your nervous system and your lived experience.
My work offers a space to explore who you are beyond what others need from you, to question the expectations you've learned to live by, and to consider what it might mean to build a life that makes room for your own needs, relationships, desires, and possibilities.
I see adults virtually in Illinois, Connecticut, and New York, in individual therapy, in groups, and in intensives, and I bring the same care to the trainings and consultation I offer clinicians and organizations. I look forward to working with you.

The Trajectory of Awareness
A model I developed for working with internalized racial oppression in treatment, grounded in my research with Black women psychotherapists. It informs my clinical practice, my teaching, and the trainings I offer to clinical teams and organizations.
